Molly's World
Marion Brianna Rose Courtenay
By her Dad.
We have not been able to get pictures to all our friends and relatives, so we thought the easiest (and most affordable) would be a simple web page with a few pictures of our daughter over the last eight weeks.
Almost an hour old, she greets the world!
It was a long day for all (especially JoAnna and Molly!) We arrived at the hospital Friday, June 14, 2001 at 6:00am, and Molly was born about 9:35pm. Russ figured this would be like a farm project- 'it always seems to take till sundown to get the job done!' We went to bed shortly after this, it was a nice large room with a cot for dad and all the comforts of home (well, most of them anyway...)
At noon on Saturday our little elf gets held by one of her many proud grammas, Nana Peggy.
Next it is Bekka's turn. She loves her little cousin. You can also see our view of the beautiful rose garden in full bloom outside our window. They are sitting on what was dad's bed for several nights.
For her first outing we took Molly to the Sumpter Flea Market in a little gold rush town in the hills of Oregon for Friday after Fourth of July. Here we stopped in the park in Baker City, Oregon for lunch on the way. She is three weeks old.
For Molly's 4 week checkup on July 12, she got undressed so she could be weighed and we couldn't resist a picture of those buns! Gotta have good blackmail material for when she turns 16 and needs a lesson in humility, you know....
We had our District Convention in Kennewick, Washington on July 20-22, so on the last day Molly wore her finest for all to see. I still think with a whole closet full of dresses that don't hang more than a foot off the closet rod, she is probably the best dressed little girl around! JoAnna has been planning for her little girl for a long time!
Thanks for watching, enjoy the photos, print them out if you like. Thanks to everyone for your support during this time with our new baby:
