Bills' Hobbies ...somewhere on line...

Welcome to Bills' Hobbies, my little corner of cyberspace. Here you will find information about my hobby of modelrailroading, news and photos about the camping club I belong to, a page about the family pets, and anything else that I want to share with you.

I provide a lot of links to many other sites that are relative to my hobbies, and I personally clicked each and every one of them when I set up the links pages, just to be sure they worked.
If you find any dead or objectionable links, please let me know, and I will take care of the problem.

Why am I a model Railroader??

Like a lot of people, I have always been fascinated by trains of all sorts; steam, diesel, electric(traction), freight or passenger, narrow guage or standard.

Basically, if it runs on rails, I like it!

Model railroading as a hobby provides a rich variety of areas to learn new skills; carpentry, electrical, painting and scenery making, model building (houses, stores, etc), time and money management, research into how real railroads operated, and even learning about geology to aid in scenery building.

Model Railroading is more than kids playing with trains!!!!

Here are links to the personal homepages of some of my friends, please visit them also! (Just be sure to return here!!)
