Train 723 Survey Results

We had a great response to the survey that was conducted regarding the proposed alternatives for Train 723 departure times out of Sacramento. A total number of 66 regular riders (monthly and 10-ride ticket holders) participated in the survey and results were provided to the Capitol Corridor Joint Powers Authority (JPA) as follows:

1) Maintain current 5:15 AM departure from Sacramento with pad and consistent on-time arrivals at Richmond and Emeryville for Bart and Bus connections, respectively. No. Responses = 6

2) Maintain current 5:15 AM departure from Sacramento, tighten schedule between Sacramento and Richmond and arrive San Francisco earlier, provided there aren't any passnger, freight, or other operational delays. No. Responses = 5

3) Depart Sacramento at 5:30 AM and maintain current arrival times at Richmond and Emeryville for Bart and Bus connections, respectively, provided there aren't any passnger, freight, or other operational delays. No. Responses = 41

4) Depart Sacramento at 5:20 AM and maintain current arrival times at Richmond and Emeryville for Bart and Bus connections, respectively. No. Responses = 1

5) Depart Sacramento at 5:25 AM, tighten schedule between Sacramento and Richmond, arrive Richmond at 6:51 AM and Emeryville at 7:03 AM provided passenger, freight, or other operational delays are minimal. No. Responses = 13

The word from the JPA so far is that our survey results will be taken into consideration when establishing the new schedule for Train 723. Updates will be posted as new information is provided to us.
