Paint Bank and McFalls

The photo on the left shows the summit town of Paint Bank, VA, where there is a junction with the Potts Creek Branch and the South Fork Branch. This is located above the west end staging yard. Behind the ridge at Paint Bank is the passing siding location of Abbott, which will be mostly hidden due to its unrealistic location behind Paint Bank.  The photo on the right shows a westbound rolling through McFalls, VA, where a busy lumberyard keeps the New Castle Switcher crews busy. McFalls is above Lewisburg. The upper level duckunder connects Paint Bank and McFalls.
