Automotive Carrier Ramp

This was a project that my brother did.  He built this at his dorm room at Colorado State University.  He found that he had some free time, and decided to make it.  It is made from bass wood with some metal parts.  The guard rails are made out of metal. He soldered them at a friends house and it wound up taking him forever.  The ramp's height is adjustable with the use of all thread.

He also wanted a rough black look on the ramp. For this he used the non slip material used in the bottom of bath tubs painted black.  It works very well with the auto carriers he also made.  We will have a section of the layout for this model this summer.

More pictures of this ramp can be seen in the McDonnell 2004 Section.
