Some F40's seen on Empire Service trains in the mid 1990s.

Here is 226 leading an Empire train east through the Kirkville crossing and about to pass through the detector fall 97. Note the Heritage Coach that is now a common site on these trains.

226 on a different day going east on a beautiful fall morning near the Krikville, NY crossing.

The view out of the brakeman's side of an F40 going through the Albany yard Sept 95. The 2 F40's seen to the left were waiting for FL9's to bring up trains from NYC so they could take them west.

Here is F40 227 on an Empire Service train heading westbound out of the Amtrak station on a Monday night in August 97.
