The Lake Shore has occasionally had the green "REA" box cars come through on the Boston section as seen here in Albany, NY late September 97.

This is a pic of the Lake Shore in late May of 97 when it still had F40's for power. This day, # 340 was the lead unit, and 308 was trailing.

Here is a shot of the Lake Shore from Burnet Ave overpass in Syracuse, NY showing the drastic new look of the train. P42's for power, and the NY section on the head end and the Boston moved to the rear. Fall 97.
