Central Of New Jersey Maybe's

- As of 6/96 CNJ Clerestory Coach was at Santa Fe, N.M., beautifully painted, lettered, and striped. Don Marenzi didn't know if it is privately owned, or owned by the Santa Fe
Southern RR (shortline with tourist trains). It was sitting in their yard, within sight of their depot.
The Grand Canyon Ry. purchased 14 Clerestory Coaches appx. 1984; from NJ Transit. Some of these may have been canibalized for parts, or sold since. The
GCRy. went through a change of ownership since then; Don Marenzi was not sure the current GCRy ever took possesion of all 14 cars. There were a number of these cars at
Williams, AZ last time Don Marenzi was there ( 6/96 ). Don Marenzi didn't believe any of the CNJ cars have yet been restored for use on the GCRy., apparently the x SP coaches they
        acquired were in better shape.

I believe there may be a significant number of coaches used by various tourist railroads. If you know
of any please add these to the list.I am also looking to purchase slides, photos, movies, diagrams or
railroadiana of the CNJ. If you have a CNJ, collection of slides and dont want to part with them, I
will pay you to allow me to duplicate them.
