Subsidiaries

Buckeye Central Leasing (BCLX)
buys, sells, overhauls and leases four- and six-axle locomotives to railroads and related industries.  We provide our customers with financial and mechanical services that compliment one of the most reliable locomotive lease fleets in North America.  Equipment is available for short- and long-term lease agreements.  All contracted rebuilding are repairs are handled at our shops in Marion, OH.

 

Eagle Intermodal and Marion Intermodal Terminal
Intermodal
Ohio & Indiana Railroad and Eagle Intermodal Services operate an extensive trailer-on-flatcar, container-on-flatcar, and double-stack rail network, with service and connections to most major Northeastern and Midwestern U.S. markets.  In addition, OHIR and EIS offer connections to carriers in the western US, Canada, and Mexico through a number of interchange locations.  Based out of the new Marion Intermodal Terminal, jointly-run with CSX and Schneider National, Eagle Intermodal can get your freight moving no matter the destination.

Automotive
OHIR and EIS serve automotive manufacturers and vehicle parts suppliers by transporting vehicle parts to assembly plants and after market distribution centers, as well as delivering finished vehicles to market.

Triple Crown
OHIR and EIS, in conjunction with Norfolk Southern and it's Triple Crown subsidiary, work to provide a door-to-door delivery service to specific markets.  More information can be found on the Triple Crown website.

 

Marion Locomotive Works

Marion Locomotive Works provides major overhaul, regular maintenance, and contract assembly and repainting work for the Ohio & Indiana Railroad, Buckeye Central Leasing, and numerous other roads and companies. 

The Locomotive Shop performs initial testing and setup of new EMD locomotives, running and carbody repairs, traction motor, wheel, air compressor changeouts, prime mover and generator changeout/replacement, and rewiring and electronics/computer upgrades. The Car Repair facility provides a variety of AAR repairs, along with extended service repairs, lease termination inspections, washout cleaning, and application of new exterior and interior linings. At the state-of-the-art Paint Shop facility, we do refinishing of locomotive cabs, engine compartments, and car bodies, along with refinishing all types of freight cars.
