The Monticello Railway Museum of Monticello, Illinois, hosted its first Photographers' Weekend on April 24-25, 1999. The stars of the show were Wabash F7 1189 and Canadian National FPA4 6789. The F-unit pulled a freight train, while the Alco cab unit powered a short passenger train. Photographers were taken tio various locations on the museum's three-mile line in the Wabash caboose at the end of the freight.

In a scene from southern Ontario (well, actually Illinois, but it could have been Ontario), Wabash 1189 and CN 6789 have a simulated meet.

TT2302

CNR 6789 meets Monticello Museum ex-Long Island RS3 301 on a work train. These scenes were taken in a field north of the museum's station.

TT2303

Another simulated meet of a Wabash freight and CNR passenger train. The trains were turned on Saturday evening to provide different photo opportunities on Sunday.

TT2304

Illinois Central steam-powered pile driver ICX 238 performed during the event.
