HO Scale Fitchburg & Southbridge

We'd moved into our second house, and it was time to start a new layout.  Space was still rather tight, but we'd found that it was that much easier to build models in HO scale.  Since that was becoming our real passion, we decided to make the switch.  The era of the layout was pushed back into the 1930s to facilitate the scratchbuilding of rolling stock and to make use of the wonderful Jordan vehicles we had discovered at the hobby shop.  The smaller cars of the depression era would allow us (we thought) to use tighter curves and fit more in.  The F&S is still in existence; although it is capable of operation, it primarily runs as a show layout for visitors.  Please follow this link to see the trackplan.
