2000:
Friday, January 21: Washington Transportation Alliance Transportation Strategy Summit. 8-11AM at Hilton Seattle Airport (17620 International Blvd). RSVP by January 14. A light breakfast will be provided.
Thursday-Saturday, April 27-29 2000: NARP Board Meeting. Washington DC.
Monday, September 18, 2000: Sounder Commuter Rail Service (between Seattle and Tacoma) starts with 3 round trips.
Thursday-Saturday, October 19-21, 2000: NARP Board Meeting. Pittsfield, MA.
November 7, 2000: VOTE NO ON ANY TIM EYMAN ORIGINATED INITATIVES. Hope that none of them make it to the ballot in the first place.
2001 and beyond:
Late April 2001: NARP Board Meeting. Washington DC.
June 2001: Sounder Commuter Rail service (between Seattle and Tacoma) goes to 9 round trips.
Late October 2001: NARP Board Meeting. Dallas, TX.
Late 2001: Sound Transit starts Commuter Rail Service to Everett and the Lakewood extension.
