I can't recall where Tom told me these gondola were located.  From the flowers, I know it wasn't Massawa. I believe the building in the background was in Asmara.   I know that the gondola were used along with the flat cars for hauling CONEX boxes up from the ships. I guess this was a mini version of containerization.
