Cassell's 1899:

Castlegregory, village on Tralee Bay, parish of Killiney (q.v.), West county Kerry, Ireland, 15 miles W of Tralee. There is an endowed school and a coastguard station. An annual fair is held. The castle was garrisoned for Charlies I, but fell before the Parliamentary troops.
