CP 4210

Making history, the last daylight run of the last five operable CP MLW diesels roll #923 westbound through Newtonville. As the sun sets on this day, June 20, 1998, an era in Canadian railroading ends.

The world was a better place when a quartet of C424's was not an uncommon sight on the Canadain Pacific. These four are westbound at Beare, Ontario (a CN name), and are just about to step accross the short bridge over CN's York Sub.

Nearing the end her career, C424 4240 leads two sisters through the railfan resort know as Newtonville.

In what has become typical, a rag-tag assortment of diesels lead a CP westbound throgh Bowmanville.
