This page is intended to share my hobby by showing the progress of my railroad world, like a journal of model railroad construction.
This doesn't reflect any actual location, to me the model railroad layout is a place where I can try to build a world for my models to operate in. There's no prototype, no set-in-stone time period or even era. I love to experiment with the scale models, automation, electronics, mechanics, etc. of the hobby. In order to try to keep finances under control, I try to focus my collection on roads in operation in Kansas City (specifically Missouri regional railroads) but in truth anything goes. I also have a small contingent of equipment from the local roads where I live now (Peoria, IL).
