Queen's Hotel

Front Street West, Toronto

Queen's Hotel 1867 Toronto in the Camera, Octavius Thompson. Toronto Public Library

This 19th Century view shows the Queen's Hotel when horse drawn cars served Toronto. 1886

Here it is in the 1920's. Big changes have taken place but there is still one horse drawn vehicle in evidence.

More changes and soon the old Queen's Hotel will give way to the famous Royal York.
