Foley, Welch & Stewart

Timothy Foley, Patrick Welch and John Stewart in the years before World War I were the largest railway contractor in Canada building lines for CPR, CNoR, GTP, PGE. GN and NP. Later they got involved with lumber becoming Bloedel, Stewart and Welch. Eventually merging with H.R.MacMillan company becoming MacMillan Bloedel.

This tiny 18 ton dinky built by Davenport belies the size of its owner.
