Milltowne Railway Line

A fictitious "railway" that began with the display of a caboose next to the original 1915 Piedmont and Northern station where South Main Cycles business was located at 4 N. Main St., Belmont, NC. January 2008 saw the addition of a GE 70-tonner from Fairmont & Western 107, ex Laurinburg & Southern 107. Previously, it was in Canada as DEVCO 60 successor to Sydney & Louisburg 60, ex British Columbia Ry. 553 nee Pacific Great Eastern 553. GE 30038 3/1949.

A decision was made to reduce the exhibit and in April 2016 the diesel unit and caboose were removed.
They are privately owned in Dallas, NC
The passenger car remained for awhile but was later scrapped.
