The Bourg La Reine Railroad Paul Lieszkovszky's indoor-outdoor layout near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Built in late 1960s using lots of concrete.

The C&A Railroad Another Pittsburgh-area layout. Raised above the ground, situated in a flower garden, this one was built in two days from Trex in 1999. All track is Gargraves; there is no straight track.
Doug's Nevada layout Doug's 550' mainline near Reno, Nevada, at 5300' elevation. Atlas track laid directly on the ground with a base of non conductive sand used by Sierra Pacific power company around their transformers and sub stations.
