SEPTA Main Line Ambler PA April 4 2006

A dump truck takes out two tracks of wires in Ambler. Part One is here, Part Two here.

The wire train moves north on Track 2, and you can see what waits them on Track 1.
The wire train creeps slowly through the crossing with personnel on the roof of the camp car.
Standing on the roof of 601, they start removing what wire remains.
While the wire train works on Track 2, the crew of the bucket truck begin a tug of war with the wire on Track 1.
Work on the damaged area will continue all night, but the pressing problem will be all the Lansdale and Doylestown riders trying to get home during the evening rush. Stay tuned.
