MRVC rake in Mumbai
Prakash Tendulkar

MRVC (Mumbai Rail Vikas Corporation) received three (out of twelve) coaches from ICF (Integral Coach Factory) late last year. These coaches are idle at Kandivali Carshed awaiting delivery of the remaining 9 coaches to form a rake.

Notable features of these coaches are: Stainless Steel body shell, wide windows, higher density of passengers and Air-cooling in first class coaches.
