This is an archived website. The last addition to this website was in 2012, but there are still a lot of informative photos, drawings and other useful information posted here. Any contact information and listings of upcoming events is probably obsolete. This group does have a Facebook Page where you will find additional photos, but there doesn't appear to be anything new posted there either. Our club meets at 7:00 PM on the second and subsequent Tuesdays of each month on the second floor of Squires Memorial Presbyterian Church, 770 Ingleside Road, Norfolk, VA. Visitors are welcome at our meetings. Details about meeting parking and building access are available on the "Club Events and Meetings" page listed on the navigation menu on the left side of this window.

Both N-TRAK and T-TRAK standards are used in SHR N-TRAK layouts. SHR N-TRAK uses the N-TRAK mountain (green) line version of the N-TRAK module standard. Our members have even devised an alternate method of attaching N-TRAK module legs to simplify the assembly of a module at a public exhibit. Members participating in our T-TRAK layouts are using the wider alternate track spacing in order to run models representing the larger American prototype equipment. Visit the N-TRAK and T-TRAK web sites for details about module specifications.

N-TRAK and T-TRAK modules are small enough for transport in ordinary passenger cars. Participation in a modular railroading club makes it possible to run trains on an impressive size layout that's just not possible in many homes and apartments.

New T-Trak layout pictures posted April 2010!
