Ohio Valley
Free-mo is an HO scale model railroad group that was established in October
of 2003 by people with an interest in the Free-mo method of module building
and operations. The group is small with members in areas of southwestern Ohio
and northern Kentucky.
We are
constantly looking for new members with interest in Free-Mo and the alternative
to the "roundy-round" modular model railroading.
Our era
to model varies with each member, but the majority is set in the 70's and
80's, with some modern equipment in operation. We try to keep modules consistent
with one geographical region, Southern Ohio and Eastern Kentucky & West
Virginia mostly. Most modules are constructed and designed with the east coast
in mind, with some areas in the midwest.
