These first 4 photos vividly show the daredevils building the 2nd Bridge worked without lifelines or safety lines. It was
105 feet to the river below. This was in 1910-1912 period and makes one wonder what it must have been like on the
1st Bridge 1880-1885. I can't find a fatal accident count for either Bridge but would bet there were some. Reminds
me of building tinker toys sets viewing these photos.
