Soaring high above Port Hope, eastbound #918 with SLH #5560:2, NS #6700, NS #6655, and CP #5416 make for an interesting sight. The NS units, while not unheard of, are certainly a good catch on the Belleville Sub. The SLH #5560:2 is an SD40-2 built with componets from wrecked CP SD40 #5560:1. Also of note, the Canadian Tire store seen through the bridge piers sits near the approximate location of the old Midland Railway roundhouse and turntable. The bridge itself passes right through it. |
