CP 8546, 8248, SLH 8245, and SLH 8216 0n #923 Aug 15/99

This is proof that you can always count on CP to surprise. An AC4400 leading three GP9's, two of which are St. Lawrence and Hudson unit's.

CP 6011

A southbound freight roll's through the fall colours at Dock Siding on the Parry Sound Sub.

CP 5976, 5761, and 784 on #434 June 19/99

At 07:36, the southbound #434 eases into the siding at Bala for a meet with a northbound on June 19, 1999.

CP 9140, 9142, 8514, 9574, and 8240 0n #923 Aug 17/99

Crossing Cherrywood trestle, #923 has more than enough power for the Montreal to Toronto run; two SD90MAC's, two AC4400's, and one GP9 for good measure!

SLH 5560, NS 6700, NS 6655, and CP 5416 on #918 July 11/98 at Port Hope

Soaring high above Port Hope, eastbound #918 with SLH #5560:2, NS #6700, NS #6655, and CP #5416 make for an interesting sight. The NS units, while not unheard of, are certainly a good catch on the Belleville Sub. The SLH #5560:2 is an SD40-2 built with componets from wrecked CP SD40 #5560:1. Also of note, the Canadian Tire store seen through the bridge piers sits near the approximate location of the old Midland Railway roundhouse and turntable. The bridge itself passes right through it.
