These first 4 photo`s vivdly show the daredevils building the 2nd bridge . worked without life lines.
It was 105 feet to the water below. this was in 1910-1912 period and makes one wonder what it must have
been like on the 1st bridge 1880-1885. i can`t find a fatal accident count for either bridge but would bet
there were some. remines me of building tinker toys sets viewing these photos.
